Otto offers a number of avenues for Pet Parents to enroll their Pets in Care Plans

Pet Parents can enroll from your website through our "GET HELP NOW - 24/7 Live Chat" widget if they’re needing urgent help from the Teletriage Team, OR from a Care Plan button (embedded link provided by us and installed on your site by your website provider).

The Otto team can send launch and upcoming appointment emails or mass text messages with links to enroll. If you’re interested in sending these messages but haven’t yet, reach out to your Care Program Manager or Flow Customer Success Manager to discuss!

Each piece of marketing also has its own scannable QR code that will take your Pet Parents to your enrollment page.
Oftentimes, a Pet Parent will want to enroll while they’re at the Clinic or over the phone. In this case, you’ll start by searching the Client (Pet Parent) or Patient name in Flow.
Once you’ve found the Pet you’re looking for, you will navigate to the Care tab in their Flow Profile (the circled star in the right hand corner).
There, you will see a Pet Portal Link - this link can be copied and emailed or texted directly to the Pet Parent, or if the Client is physically in the building, pasted into your own browser to enroll the pet.
This link will lead the Pet Parent to your customized Microsite, where they can review each Care Plan’s unique offerings.
Once they’ve finalized their decision for which Care Plan they’d like to enroll in, the Plan Card can be clicked on or they can select “Choose Your Plan” at the bottom of the screen.
Before navigating through the final steps of payment/enrollment, a pop up will ask the Pet Parent to confirm which Pet they’re enrolling (or if they’d like to enroll multiple at once, they can select more than one).
After selecting which Pet(s) to enroll, the Pet Parent will be directed to the Review & Pay screen. They will first enter their payment information. This will, by default, be the card on file for their recurring 12 monthly payments, but can be changed at any time after the initial enrollment is completed.
Below where the Pet Parent enters their payment information, they’ll be able to once more review everything included in their Pet’s Care Plan, the monthly cost, and the total due today.
Below the "Submit" button are the “Terms and Conditions”, if they would like to read through them prior to finalizing the enrollment.
Once They press Submit, the enrollment is finalized and They’ll be taken to the “Welcome to our pack!” Page.
- If the Client is enrolling from home/remotely on their own and need immediate care for their Pet, they can use the “Chat Now” feature to get in touch with one of our 24/7 Live Veterinary Professionals.
- They can also edit the payment information for their monthly plan payments on this screen via the “Edit Payment Info” button.
- If they’ve decided by this point to enroll another pet, they can do so by pressing the purple button at the bottom of the screen.
From your view in Flow, you should now be able to navigate back to the Pet’s Flow profile, click on the Care tab, and see all benefits available to use from the Pet’s Care Plan. The Pet will also have a gold circled star by their icon.
These benefits are available for immediate use! Meaning the pet parent can enroll right before, at the start, or at any time during an appointment prior to check out to start saving!
