The Pet Profile displays information about the patient as entered in the practice management software.
1. Pet Information
The Pet Profile displays information about the patient’s signalment. Any changes to these characteristics will sync over as determined by your practice management software(PIMS).
2. Deceased/Inactive Status
Patients can be manually marked as deceased or inactive within Flow to stop any future automations from sending. To find out more information, click here.
💡Important Note: Marking a Patient as deceased or inactive in the side panel does not update the patient status in the PIMS. The Patient status must be updated in the PIMS separately
💡If a patient has been marked as deceased or inactive within the PIMs, that information will sync over to Flow once per day
💡Patients marked as deceased or inactive via either this feature or by updating the Patient in the PIMS will not show under the list of pets visible to the Client in the Pet Portal
3. Alerts
Alerts listed in the PIMS will be displayed here.
💡Any information shown here will not be visible to clients in the Pet Portal
4. Add New
Adding a new client within the Pet Profile allows for additional owners to be linked to that patient. Any linked clients will be listed here.
💡Linking a new client does not automatically include them in any automated communications
💡Linked clients can be added manually to existing conversations by clicking Client: + in the conversation page and choosing the desired client
💡Linked clients in conversations will not receive notifications and will have to view conversations within the Pet Portal
5. Appointments
Upcoming appointments synced over from the PIMS or scheduled in Flow will be visible here. Clicking on the appointment will show detailed information.
💡A list of previous appointments will be listed in the History section
6. Services Due
If the clinic’s PIMS supports service reminder integration with Flow, overdue and upcoming services due will be displayed here. They are shown in ascending date order (earliest to latest), with overdue reminders shown first. Services due will be listed regardless of if the clinic is using Flow to send out service reminders to clients. The earliest two reminders will be visible with a link to view all upcoming and overdue. Past reminders that have already been updated will not be shown here. To learn more about service reminders, click here.
