When does data sync from Impromed to Flow?
Data will sync between Impromed and Flow multiple times per hour.
If I create an appointment in Flow, will it create in Impromed as well?
Yes, an appointment created within Flow will sync with Impromed's schedule. Appointment changes made in Flow DO NOT sync over to Impromed, it is recommended that all changes to appointments be made within Impromed.
If I delete an appointment in Flow, will it be deleted in Impromed as well?
No, an appointment that is created in Impromed and then deleted from Flow will not be removed from Impromed's schedule.
If an appointment is deleted in Impromed will it delete in Flow and/or still send out an automated reminder?
Impromed uses Appointment Types to delete, cancel, mark as No Show, ect. In order to delete an appointment from Flow automatically and have automations not go out, an appointment should be removed in Impromed by marking it as ‘Deleted’. 'No Shows' will still trigger automations because they are not seen the same as Canceled/Deleted appointments.
- Here are the steps to take:
- Find the desired appointment in Easy Time
- Right Click, select Delete Appointment.
- A window will open, make sure “Delete” is selected, select OK.
- The appointment color will update. It will sync to Flow.
If an appointment is confirmed in Flow, will that confirmation sync back in Impromed?
Yes! Confirmations that write back to Impromed are done via automations only. Important note, to utilize this feature there is additional set up required.
- How to set up confirmation write-backs for Impromed:

- Create an appointment status within Impromed called “Appointment Confirmed”
- Advise your Onboarding Specialist or Customer Success Manager of this change and our technical team will take care of the rest!
- Please note, it will take at least 24 hours for this appointment status to sync over
If I create a new client and/or pet in Impromed, will they automatically show up in Flow?
New clients and/or pets will sync from Impromed to Flow. Secondary contacts set in Impromed will not sync to Flow.
If I create a new client and/or pet in Flow, will they automatically sync back into Impromed?
No, clients and pets created in Flow will not sync back into Impromed. Create all clients and pets within Impromed to sync them to Flow.
Do conversations and forms export back into Impromed?
Conversations can be manually or automatically exported from Flow into Impromed upon completion of a chat. Exported conversations will be visible in the Medical Records section, specifically within the “Link” record.

Yes, clients can find their pet vaccine information by logging in to their Pet Portal (including the Otto app).

How to help pet parents view their Pet ID Card in their pet portal
- Clients should log into their pet portal via the Otto app (https://pet.otto.vet/) or receive the link to their web-based pet portal
- All of their pets listed in Impromed will be listed in the top row of the pet portal
- Select the pet that they want vaccine information for
- Click the option ‘View Pet ID Card’ in the upper-right corner
