If I create an appointment in Flow, will it create in Shepherd as well?

No, appointments created in Flow will not sync to Shepherd.

If I delete an appointment in Flow, will it be deleted in Shepherd as well?

No, appointments deleted in Flow will not sync to Shepherd.

If an appointment is confirmed in Flow, will that confirmation sync back in Shepherd?

Yes! Confirmations that write back to Shepherd are done via automations only.

If I delete an appointment in Shepherd, will it be deleted in Flow? Will it still send out an automated reminder?

Yes, appointments will be deleted from Flow and automated reminders will be cancelled.

If I create a new client and/or pet in Shepherd, will they automatically show up in Flow?

Yes, new clients and new pets will sync from Shepherd to Flow within 5 minutes.

If I create a new client and/or pet in Flow, will they automatically sync back into Shepherd?

No, clients and pets created in Flow will not sync back into Shepherd. Create all clients and pets within Shepherd to sync them to Flow.

Do conversations export back into Shepherd?

Conversations can be manually or automatically exported from Flow into Shepherd upon completion of a chat. Exported conversations will be visible in the Patient Profile under both "Patient Files" and "Patient History"

Do payments made in Flow reflect in client balances in Shepherd?

No - payments made within Flow will not update client balances. To view payments made, navigate to the Reporting tab in the left hand menu.

Can I use Flow for my service reminders?

Service reminders are not available for clinics utilizing Shepherd at this time.

Can clients see pet vaccine data?

No, pet parents cannot view their pet’s medical history or vaccine history in their pet portal.
