Cornerstone Scheduled Appointment Changes
Appointments within Cornerstone will need to be handled in a specific way to allow for proper syncing with Flow. See below for Otto's recommendations for optimal syncing.
Rescheduling Appointments
To reschedule an appointment, right click into the appointment in Cornerstone and select Move, then navigate to the new time/date slot and click into it. This will prompt a confirmation modal asking if this appointment will be rescheduled to the selected time/date.
Cancelled / No Show / Deleting appointments
For cancelled, no show, and deleting appointments, right-click into the appointment, select Delete and then select what kind of Deletion it is between Failed, Cancelled or Neither. Any one of these options results in the appointment completely removed from the Cornerstone schedule and then subsequently completely removing from the Flow schedule. Any automations that haven’t fired yet will be stopped and will not be sent.
Confirming Appointments
Otto automations give the ability to send confirmation reminders to clients before the appointment. Selecting the confirmation option within an automation will write back that confirmation to Cornerstone and update both the Cornerstone and Flow appointment. When an appointment is confirmed via an automation, the is no sync time to wait for that update to reflect in Flow.
Note that the appointment status shown on the Flow appointment card is the PIMS status. When an appointment is confirmed in Cornerstone, it remains in a Scheduled status.
Finding exported forms and conversations in Cornerstone
- Open Cornerstone and click the ‘Patient File’ icon
- Search for the patient either by ID or name
- Listed will be files associated with the patient, including any exports from Flow. Click the desired file
- At the bottom of the window, look for a tab labeled ‘Attachments’ and click this.
- Select the export and click ‘Open’
