How to set up a Default Exporter in Cornerstone

What is a Default Exporter?

Your Default Exporter is the team member (typically a doctor or provider) that Otto uses when syncing information back into your Cornerstone.

When Flow sends data into Cornerstone — such as client conversations, completed forms, or AI Scribe SOAP notes — those entries need to be attributed to someone. The Default Exporter is the staff member those exports will be associated with.

How to choose a Default Exporter?

This selected staff member will be automatically assigned to all exports from Otto that are saved in your Cornerstone. A couple of options are to either:

• Create a new employee and name it something with ‘Otto’ in the name, to clearly differentiate Otto exports from others you may have.
• Choose an existing employee that you’re comfortable all exports from Otto are automatically assigned to

Step by Step guide for Cornerstone

To add a staff member:

1. On the Lists menu, select Staff

2. Click New. The Staff Information dialog box appears.

3. Type a Staff ID (ex- 235)

4. Select the staff member's Classification.

5. Type the staff member's Name and Address information, License Number and DEA Number, if applicable.

6. In the Phones dialog box, right-click and choose New (or press Ctrl + N). The Staff Phone Setup appears.

7. Type the Phone Information, including any Notes and choose OK. The Staff Information dialog box reappears.

8. Click "OK" to save!
