When does data sync from AVImark to Flow?
Data will sync between AVImark and Flow multiple times per hour.
If I create an appointment in Flow, will it create in AVImark as well?
Yes, an appointment created within Flow will sync to AVImark.
If I delete an appointment in Flow, will it be deleted in AVImark as well?
No, an appointment that is created in AVImark and then deleted from Flow will not be removed from AVImark's schedule.
If an appointment is deleted in AVImark will it delete in Flow and/or still send out an automated reminder?
In order to delete an appointment from Flow automatically, an appointment should be removed in AVImark by marking it as ‘Cancelled’, ‘No Show’, ‘Rescheduled’, or ‘Late’. Appointments should never be marked as ‘Delete the Reservation’ as this may unlink the appointments and only delete within AVImark.
It is best practice to mark the appointment and then create a new appointment within AVImark (if rescheduling) to be certain that the correct automation attached to that appointment type fires off.
If an appointment is confirmed in Flow, will that confirmation sync back in AVImark?
Yes! Confirmations that write back to AVImark are done via automations only.
If I create a new client and/or pet in AVImark, will they automatically show up in Flow?
New clients and/or pets will sync from AVImark to Flow within 5 minutes. Secondary contacts set in AVImark will not sync to Flow.
If I create a new client and/or pet in Flow, will they automatically sync back into AVImark?
No, it is recommended that all clients and patients be created within AVImark.
Do conversations export back into AVImark?
Conversations can be manually or automatically exported from Flow into AVImark upon completion of a chat. Exported conversations can be visible under History File Attachments within AVImark.
Can I use Flow for my service reminders?
Yes, clinics on AVImark can use Flow to manage their service reminders. To learn how to set up service reminders, click here.
Can clients see pet vaccine data?
Yes, clients can find their pet vaccine information by logging in to their Pet Portal (including the Otto app).

How to help pet parents view their Pet ID Card in their pet portal
- Clients should log into their pet portal via the Otto app (https://pet.otto.vet/)or receive the link to their web-based pet portal
- All of their pets listed in AVImark will be listed in the top row of the pet portal
- Select the pet that they want vaccine information for
- Click the option ‘View Pet ID Card’ in the upper-right corner
- Clients can then download the data as a PDF
- Upcoming service reminders can be viewed by clicking on Reminders
