- To upgrade a pet’s Care Plan, use the "Manage Membership" support tool in Flow to submit a ticket.
- While this is an automated process, we still ask that you let us know who our Support Team should be reaching out to while processing ticket, in case any thing unusual happens in the process. If you are about to clock out for the day, consider putting the name of the employee who will be filling your place.
- Select Upgrade Membership and which Membership the Pet Parent would like to upgrade to, the Manage Membership tool will show how much the Client owes, this amount will be charged to the card on file for their current Membership.
- The amount owed will simply be the difference in plan cost + how long the Client has had their pet on a plan (if the client has paid 1 monthly payment of $50 for their current plan and the plan their upgrading to is $100/month, they will pay the $50 difference so that their payments stay on a 12-month billing cycle).
- Then, the Manage Membership tool will simply apply any benefits used from the old plan, toward the new plan.
Example:
Pet is enrolled in Essential plan and has used 1 exam and $500 of my $500 Instant Account Credit and needs to upgrade to to the complete plan that includes 2 exams and a $1000 Instant Account Credit. Once I upgrade, 1 exam and $500 will be consumed from my complete plan, leaving me with 1 exam and $500 to use for the rest of the year.
