Why am I seeing this banner?
If you are seeing the above banner in your Email Campaign page, it's because we're missing information about your appointments and/or your clients.
In order for Email Campaigns to work with your clinic, you must use either your PIMS Integrated system's appointment scheduler OR the Flow scheduler to book and manage appointments. If your clinic does not use either of these avenues to support appointments, e.g. your clinic schedules appointments in Google Calendar, we cannot support Email Campaigns.
How does Otto determine who a recipient is?
A recipient is a client who:
- Is not set as inactive in your PIMS or Flow
- Is not deleted in your PIMS or Flow
- Has an active and non-deceased pet on their account
- Has an email address on file
- Has had an appointment some time in the past or future at your clinic
- If your clinic uses a PIMS we have integrated with, we sync the last 3 years of appointment information at the time of your Flow onboarding
- If your clinic does not use a PIMS, we rely on the appointments you have scheduled in Flow to determine whether the client is a valid recipient for Email Campaigns
