Yes! When a confirmation automation is triggered in Otto, it will write the confirmation status back to Instinct. Manual confirmations in Otto do not write back.
If I delete an appointment in Instinct, will it be deleted in Otto? Will it still send out an automated reminder?
Yes, appointments will be deleted from Otto, and automated reminders will be cancelled.
If I create a new client and/or pet in Instinct, will they automatically show up in Otto?
Yes, new clients and new pets will sync from Instinct to Otto within 5 minutes.
If I create a new client and/or pet in Otto, will they automatically sync back into Instinct?
No, clients and pets created in Otto will not sync back into Instinct. Create all clients and pets within Instinct to sync them to Otto.
Do conversations export back into Instinct?
Conversations and forms can be manually or automatically exported from Otto into Instinct as PDFs upon completion of a chat. Exported files will be visible in the Patient Chart under Non-Visit Documents.
Do payments made in Otto reflect in client balances in Instinct?
No - payments made within Otto will not update client balances. To view payments made, navigate to the Reporting tab in the left-hand menu.
Can I use Otto for my service reminders?
Service reminders are not available for clinics utilizing Instinct at this time.
Can clients see pet vaccine data?
No, pet parents cannot view their pet’s medical history or vaccine history in their pet portal.
