To get connected with your practice, please follow the steps below:
Note: This integration uses SyncVet, powered by Vetsource.
Configure Integration in Shepherd
1. Go into the Shepherd 'Admin' menu and navigate to the 'Integrations' section.
2. On the top section, select 'Data Connections' and then find 'Vetsource Data Integration'.
3. Open the 'Vetsource Data Integration' page and toggle ON the integration.
4. Go back into the Shepherd 'Admin' menu and navigate to the 'Client Settings' section. Copy your clinic id.
5. Email the following information to Vetsource: datasupport@vetsource.com.
- Clinic ID
- Practice name
- Practice address
- Practice phone number
- Contact name
- Contact phone
- Contact email
Tip: Shepherd clinics also have the option to self-install the Vetsource integration directly. If you'd prefer to set this up now, ask your Otto onboarding contact to send you the self-install instructions link.
6. Vetsource will complete the Shepherd connection for your practice and communicate any other onboarding steps to you.
What to expect: After submitting your information, Vetsource typically completes the connection within 24 hours. You'll know the integration is active when your appointment schedule and client data begin syncing into Otto. Contact support@otto.vet if you haven't seen data within 48 hours.
