Introducing Message Templates!
We've had many requests for message templates and we are excited to launch this to make it easier for everyone to quickly and easily send common messages to your clients without having to copy and paste. Read below to see all the details.
Creating a Message Template

On the bottom left-hand side of Flow, you will see an icon labeled Message Templates.

If you click on the icon you will see the Message Templates page.

Clicking the + Add New button will create a new message template where you can include a name and the text you want in the Message template.

Once you click Save, your message template will be ready to use in Conversations.
Inserting Tags to a Message Template
Tags allow you to personalize your messaging and will automatically populate the information once the template is added to your conversation.
1. Select the Insert Tag option and select the tag you would like to use from the drop-down.
Supported Tags:
- Client First Name
- Client Name
- My Name
- Pet Name
- Pet Portal Links for Clients
- Pet Portal Links for Pets
Adding a Message Template in a Conversation

On individual conversations, you’ll see a new Message Templates icon.

Clicking this icon will surface a list of all the templates your clinic has created.

Once you select a Message Template, the text from that template will appear in the conversation text box.

This will also work if you are on the Notes tab as well (ex. you can create a SOAP notes template).

Once a template is loaded in the conversation text box, you’ll have the option to edit any details and/or add attachments before clicking Send Message.
Note: If you don't see the Message Template buttons in Flow just refresh the page.
