How to set up a Default Exporter in Pulse – Otto

What is a Default Exporter?

Your Default Exporter is the team member (typically a doctor or provider) that Otto uses when syncing information back into your Pulse.

When Flow sends data into Pulse — such as client conversations, completed forms, or AI Scribe SOAP notes — those entries need to be attributed to someone. The Default Exporter is the staff member those exports will be associated with.

How to choose a Default Exporter?

This selected staff member will be automatically assigned to all exports from Otto that are saved in your Pulse. A couple of options are to either:

Create a new employee and name it something with ‘Otto’ in the name, to clearly differentiate Otto exports from others you may have.
Choose an existing employee that you’re comfortable all exports from Otto are automatically assigned to
