Installing the Website Widget

Once you've customized your welcome message and request options to suit your needs, follow the steps below to add the Website Widget to your website and begin receiving requests from new and existing clients in Otto Flow.

1. Embed the widget script into your website code

In Otto Flow, navigate to the Settings > Website Widget page.

Scrolling down to the Website Widget Script section, you'll find the HTML/JavaScript code specific to your clinic's Website Widget installation. Copy and paste this script into your website code, just before the </body> HTML tag.

Many website building tools such as Wix provide specific areas for you to embed custom third-party code, typically done for all pages of your website at once:

2. Add your website domain name to the whitelist

To ensure your clinic's Website Widget will only appear on those websites you explicitly approve, add your website's domain name to the "Whitelist URLs" section as a full URL (e.g., https://otto.vet).

3. Enable your Website Widget

To enable the Website Widget to appear on your website, simply toggle it on.

If necessary, you can prevent the Connect Widget from appearing at any time by toggling it off.

Upon refresh of your website, the Website Widget should now appear at the lower right-hand corner with the welcome message and request options you specified on the Website Widget Settings page in Otto Flow.
