When does data sync from Cornerstone to Otto?

Data will sync between Cornerstone and Otto multiple times per hour.

If I create an appointment in Otto, will it be created in Cornerstone as well?

No, appointments created in Cornerstone will not sync appointments from Otto to Cornerstone.

If I delete an appointment in Otto, will it be deleted in Cornerstone as well?

No, appointment deletion does not sync back with Cornerstone.

If an appointment is deleted in Cornerstone, will it be deleted in Otto, and/or will it still send out an automated reminder?

Deleting an appointment in Cornerstone will sync back to Otto, and any automated reminders will be stopped. To learn more, click here. 

If an appointment is confirmed in Otto, will that confirmation sync back in Cornerstone?

Yes! Confirmations that write back to Cornerstone are done via automations only.

If I create a new client and/or pet in Cornerstone, will they automatically show up in Otto?

Yes, new clients and pets will populate in Otto after a sync. 

If I create a new client and/or pet in Otto, will they automatically sync back into Cornerstone?

No, new client data will not push from Otto back into Cornerstone. It is recommended that all clients and patients be created within Cornerstone.

Do conversations export back into Cornerstone?

Conversations can be manually or automatically exported from Otto into Cornerstone upon completion of a chat. Exported conversations will be visible under Medical Note - Attachments.

Do forms export back into Cornerstone?

Forms can be manually or automatically exported from Otto into Cornerstone. To manually export forms, click to the right of the form and choose the export option. To learn more, click here. To set up automatic exporting, click here. Exported forms will be visible under Medical Note - Attachments.

Can I use Otto for my service reminders?

Yes, clinics on Cornerstone can use Otto to manage their service reminders. To learn how to set up service reminders, click here. 

Can clients see pet vaccine data?

Yes, clients can find their pet vaccine information by logging in to their Pet Portal (including the Otto app) and navigating to their Pet ID Card.
