Team Chat Updates:

Otto has launched the ability to send direct messages and create private channels through our team chat feature. Please see below for more details on this functionality.

Direct Messages:

Now you can send personal messages to one or more coworkers at a time with Team Chat Direct Messaging:

direct message 1 or more coworkers at a time in a private message
delete direct message channel threads

after deleting a direct message, if you start up the conversation with the same person in the future, it will show the history of their chat in one thread

Private Channels:

create private team channels with your department, team or any colleague
when a private channel is created, choose whether to make it public for everyone at the clinic to see or private with a toggle before saving.
if a user leaves the private channel, they must be invited back in if they want to join again
you can edit the private channel's name after it's been made
you can not make a channel that is public, private or vis a versa.
you can not remove team members, but you can add team members to a private channel
