When you receive your payments terminal, you should already have an account set up with Stripe, our secure payments partner. If you have not set up your account yet, you can do so here before turning on your terminal.
Once your Stripe account is set up, please follow these steps:
1. Turn on the terminal.
Press down the button on the right side of the terminal until the terminal screen powers on.
A fully charged battery should already be assembled in the terminal when it’s delivered. If the terminal does not turn on after pressing the power button, you can double check if the battery is correctly placed by lifting up the back cover from the indentation at the bottom left corner.
2. Next up - connect the terminal to your WiFi.
By swiping from the left side of the screen to the right side, you’ll open the menu screen. Tap the ‘SETTINGS’ option and enter the admin PIN: 07139.
When the Admin Options screen appears, tap ‘WIFI SETTINGS’ and enter the details for your secure or private WiFi network.When finished, tap ‘CONNECT’.
Your WiFi network must use WPA-Personal or WPA2-Personal encryption and be password protected.
Once your WiFi connection is set, you’re ready to use your WisePos E Terminal Setup for processing payments through flow.
