With Otto's Direct Booking feature, clinics can require a payment or deposit before pet parents can book an appointment. This ensures commitment and reduces no-shows, helping your clinic run smoothly.
How to Set Up Direct Booking Payments/Deposits:
- Navigate to Settings
In Otto Flow, go to Settings and select Appointments. - Select the Appointment Type
Find the appointment type you'd like to update, then click the Edit icon next to it. - Enable Payments
In the Direct Booking section, toggle on Collect Direct Booking Payment and enter the required payment amount. - Set as a Deposit
If you’d like to collect a deposit instead of full payment, enable the Make Payment a Deposit option. - Review on Your Website Widget
The payment or deposit will be displayed to the pet parent when they book through your website, making it clear upfront.
