Otto Direct Booking can be set up to match your clinic’s workflow and preferences. To do this, we want to make sure your practice is aware of Avimark settings that will affect Otto Direct Booking.
Avimark Settings
Avimark Calendar
The Avimark Calendar determines which times and days of the week your practice is accepting appointments. To find this, navigate to Work With → Hospital Setup → Appointments. If your practice has been using Avimark for a while, you most likely have the Avimark Calendar set up already. This setting will establish a baseline to the availability shown on your Direct Booking calendar. But don’t worry, we offer options to constrict this availability to match your clinic’s preferences.
The following Avimark Calendar settings are recognized in Otto Direct Booking:
- Any days and times set up
- Appointment Block-offs
💡 Heads up! Otto Direct Booking does not work with Avimark’s Boarding Calendar. Any appointments strictly on your boarding calendar will not be recognized in Direct Booking.
Avimark Providers
For every appointment type used for Direct Booking, we will need to specify which provider/doctor is working that appointment. Should you need to create or update a provider in your Avimark, please navigate to Work With > Users and Security.
There are three set up requirements that will allow us to sync in this provider to use for Direct Booking:
- The provider is listed under the "Hospital Administration" category
- They have both a first and last name
- The check box is checked beside "User is a Doctor"
- The check box is checked beside "User appears on Appointment Calendar"
If any of these requirements are not met, our system will not be able to sync your provider in.
This concludes the necessary Avimark set up for Otto Direct Booking!
